Wärtsilä to Delivery for 114MW Bangladesh Power Plant.

Wärtsilä’s latest order, which was booked in June, is for a 114 MW power plant to be located in Feni, Bangladesh. The customer is Sri Lanka-based Infra & Engineering (pvt) Ltd. The new base-load plant will run on six Wärtsilä 50 and one Wärtsilä 20 engines. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in December of this year, and the COD will be in autumn 2019. The electricity generated will be fed to the national grid.
